Custom Shopify Website Build + Conversion Copy Agreement
Legal Agreement
This is a legally binding agreement.
By submitting payment, you ("Client") are entering into a contractual agreement with Arelis Caban-Oberst ("Service Provider") for the Custom Shopify Website Build + Conversion Copy Package outlined below.
This agreement is intended to clearly define the scope of work, payment terms, and responsibilities of both parties to ensure a smooth and professional engagement.
Scope of Work
Done For You Shopify Website Build
The Service Provider will design and build a custom Shopify website aligned with the Client’s brand, products, and business goals.
This includes:
Shopify store setup and theme configuration
Strategic, mobile-optimized website layout
Homepage design built using buyer psychology and clear calls to action
Product collection structure and site navigation
Cart and checkout optimization for conversions
Abandoned cart functionality setup where applicable
Basic technical SEO foundation including site structure, headings, and metadata framework
Conversion Copywriting
The Service Provider will write original, conversion-focused website copy tailored to the Client’s brand voice and target customer.
This includes:
Homepage copy designed to communicate value, build trust, and guide purchasing decisions
Up to ten (10) product pages rewritten and optimized for direct-to-consumer conversion
On-page copy addressing objections, clarity, and trust signals
SEO-aware copywriting integrated naturally into page structure
Additional product pages beyond the initial ten (10) are not included in this agreement and may be quoted separately if requested.
Exclusions
The following services are not included in this agreement:
Social media content creation or execution
Email marketing copy or email funnel setup
Paid or organic traffic execution
Ongoing marketing management or optimization
Any strategic guidance provided outside of website copy will be delivered as documentation only and does not include implementation.
Investment & Payment Terms
Total Project Cost: $5,800
Payment Plan Selection:
Payment plan consisting of three (3) automatic monthly payments of $1,934.
The first payment is due at checkout and secures the project start date. The remaining payments will be charged automatically every thirty (30) days until the balance is paid in full.
Work will not begin until the first payment has been successfully processed. Final website handoff, access credentials, and launch will not be released until all payments have been completed.
Late or Failed Payments:
If an automatic payment fails or is not received within five (5) business days of the scheduled charge date, the Service Provider reserves the right to pause the project until the account is brought current. Repeated payment failures may result in project termination or postponement with a $500 restart fee. All payments made are non-refundable.
Project Timeline & Communication
The project timeline begins once the first payment has been received and all required onboarding materials have been submitted by the Client.
Timely communication, feedback, and delivery of requested assets are required to maintain project progress.
Scheduled meetings are mandatory. Cancellations or reschedules must be requested with at least twenty-four (24) hours notice.
Missed meetings without notice may result in forfeiture of that session and potential project delays.
Revisions & Deliverables
Two (2) revision rounds are included per major deliverable section (homepage, product pages, etc.)
Additional revisions or scope changes may incur additional fees
Deliverables will be provided within Shopify and or Google Drive as applicable
Refunds & Termination
All payments are non-refundable due to the custom nature of this service.
If either party chooses to terminate this agreement prior to project completion, all work completed up to that point will be billed in full. No refunds will be issued for payments already made.
Legal Terms
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Client and the Service Provider and supersedes any prior discussions or agreements.
By completing checkout and signing below, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this agreement.
Jurisdiction:
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Monroe County, New York.
Final Acknowledgment
I appreciate the opportunity to support your business through strategic website design and conversion-focused messaging.
